Doug Reynolds – President/CEO
Mr. Douglas V. Reynolds is President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Energy Services of America Corp., President at Transylvania Corp., Chairman at C.J. Hughes Construction Co., Inc., Attorney at Reynolds & Brown PLLC, and a Member at West Virginia House of Delegates. He is on the Board of Directors at Energy Services of America Corp., Portec Rail Products, Inc., and The Harrah & Reynolds Corporation. Mr. Reynolds also served on the board at Abigail Adams National Bancorp, Inc. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and a graduate degree from West Virginia University.
Richard “Rick” Phillips – General Manager/COO
Rick has over 41 years of experience in the construction business with extensive knowledge of all the facets of the pipeline industry. He has been with the company since 1975. Prior to becoming General Manager, Rick worked managing many areas of the business having field experience in natural gas and petroleum distribution and transmission piping, stations, conduit, water, wastewater, and boring. He is responsible for managing all operating aspects of the business across all divisions.
David Combs – Vice President/Division Manager – Water and Wastewater
David has been working in the pipeline industry for 28 years. He began his career as a laborer, working hard to climb the ladder., He has spent the past 25 years in estimating and management. He has extensive experience in large scale installations, water, and waste water projects, as well as, large site-work development projects. He has also completed many urban streetscape projects, including high-profile plaza renovations. David graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1985. He is a Certified Master Plumber in WV, and was previously licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Registration in 1996. He is responsible for managing the water and wastewater division for C.J. Hughes.
Dan Hill – Vice President/Division Manager – Gas Distribution
Dan has been working in the areas of estimating and project management in the building and construction industry for over 43 years. He has successfully managed and completed projects ranging from $1000 to more than $21,000,000. These projects varied in scope from school building and health care facility renovations to distribution piping system main and services replacement. Dan is responsible for managing the gas distribution division for the company.
Matt Hill – Vice President/Division Manager – Gas Transmission
Matt started with C.J. Hughes in 2010 as Project Superintendent on pipeline facility civil projects. He has many years in large project management with the past 7 years primarily in the pipeline industry. Matt’s experience also includes estimating and bidding, as well as customer relations. Matt is now a division manager for C.J. Hughes and is responsible for managing specific customer major projects specializing in petroleum services and gas transmission.
Troy Taylor – Vice President/Division Manager – Gas Transmission
Troy has worked in geotechnical engineering and the pipeline industry for the past 27 years. He is a leader in his field specializing in large pipeline project management, estimating and bidding, as well as, new business development and customer relations. He has a vast skill set and knowledge of all areas in pipeline management and his experience in the industry is invaluable. Troy manages major projects in the gas transmission division and has a very diverse portfolio.
Sean Hieronimus – Corporate Safety Director
Sean has 14 years of experience in the pipeline industry including natural and petroleum gas transmission, gas distribution, water, and wastewater. He started as a laborer and quickly made safety his passion. Sean is certified in OSHA safety standards and is responsible for overseeing the safety department at C.J. Hughes.
