Ryan Taylor
Director – Safety & Human Resources
Ryan Taylor leads CJ Hughes’s safety culture and human resources functions, overseeing the programs, training, and compliance systems that underpin the company’s commitment to sending every employee home safely every day. Ryan rose through the CJ Hughes organization — from Assistant Project Manager to Manager of Safety to his current role as Director — developing a hands-on understanding of safety challenges at every level of construction operations.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Marshall University and is currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies from the University of Miami. He applies that knowledge beyond CJ Hughes as an Adjunct Professor in the Utility Construction program at Mountwest Community & Technical College, helping to prepare the next generation of construction professionals in the region.
His dual focus on field-level safety culture and organizational human resources enables CJ Hughes to attract, retain, and protect the skilled workforce that is the foundation of the company’s success.
