Chuck Austin brings more than 45 years of experience in the natural gas and underground utility construction industries to his role as President of CJ Hughes. A long-time figure within the company, Chuck previously served as Vice President / General Manager during his first tenure with CJ Hughes, before spending two decades leading operations for several companies within the energy services sector.

Appointed President in April 2020 by the Energy Services of America board of directors, Chuck has since led CJ Hughes through a period of transformative growth and geographic expansion. His deep familiarity with the company’s people, culture, and client base — combined with his broad industry perspective — positions him to guide CJ Hughes into its next chapter of service excellence.
