Kurt Kowalski

Kurt Kowalski directs CJ Hughes’s Civil and Gas Distribution operations, overseeing the construction and replacement of natural gas distribution systems and civil infrastructure projects across the company’s service territory. A graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Kurt began his career in the field as a Field Engineer and worked his way up through Project Engineer before his current role as Director.

His division handles the full spectrum of gas distribution work — from in town to cross country plastic main installation and service connections to steel line upgrades — as well as civil construction encompassing site development from foundations, slabs, and underground utilities to earthwork, environmental compliance, and site preparation.
